Uma cratera de mais de 10 metros de profundidade se formou na MA-203, na cidade de Raposa, na Região Metropolitana de São Luís, e vem causando riscos a pedestres e motoristas que passam pelo local. A situação é tão grave que a Defesa Civil municipal alerta que qualquer chuva mais forte pode partir a estrada e causar tragédias.
A cratera foi formada há dois anos, após uma obra paliativa feita pelo governo do estado. No entanto, a obra não foi concluída e as últimas chuvas levaram embora o serviço, deixando a cratera ainda mais perigosa.
Mesmo com o perigo iminente, as autoridades responsáveis pela manutenção da via não tomam medidas efetivas para resolver o problema. Moradores e motoristas denunciam a falta de compromisso das autoridades e exigem uma solução imediata para o problema que ameaça suas vidas.
A Secretaria de Estado da Infraestrutura informou que enviou técnicos à MA-203 para avaliar o problema e já está definindo os serviços necessários para a reparação da via. No entanto, as autoridades não informaram quando os serviços serão realizados, o que causa ainda mais incerteza e preocupação na população local.
A situação da MA-203 é um exemplo da falta de compromisso das autoridades com a segurança pública. A região sofre com a falta de manutenção nas estradas, o que pode causar riscos à segurança das pessoas que passam pelo local. É inaceitável que as autoridades responsáveis não tomem medidas urgentes para resolver o problema e garantir a segurança dos pedestres e motoristas que utilizam a via.
